An Icon for The Chapel of the Transfiguration

On March 16, 2016, the vestry of The Episcopal Church in Jackson Hole approved my painting an icon of the Transfiguration to be hung in the log chapel that sits in the middle of the valley beneath the Grand Teton in Grand Teton National Park in northwestern Wyoming. Vestry Presentation

At its March 16, 2016 meeting, the Vestry of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Jackson Hole accepted my offer to paint an icon of the Transfiguration of Christ to be placed on the wall near the entrance of the Chapel of the Transfiguration.

I gulped and went home to begin serious, focused work.
